Caleb's Jungle Animals Cake

A jungle animal theme 2 tier cake for baby Caleb :) Ordered by his mummy, Bee Leng. Celebration was at Marmalade Cafe, Bangsar Village II! Here are some pics:-

Of Christmas and Mahjong

I am slacking i know!!!!! I just don't know why I can't move my butt to update me bloggie :(

Anyway, here is the cake & cupcakes I did for Randall's open house for Christmas :)

The 2 tier cake which gave me a huge headache... although i was fun to watch the kids and adults go "ooohhh" and "ahhhhhhh" when they saw it & when they were told everything was edible. It was a 6inch fruit cake with rum and a 10inch bailey's sugee almond cake.

The matching cupcakes! Made 70 to 80 of these babies if im not mistaken... and all were finished in less than an hour :P

Made a cake recently from my first ever customer, Tiffany Tan. Last year at one go she ordered 2 sets of cupcakes and a cake. This year she came back again for a mahjong cake for her bf's mum, Susan of Pet N You, where I take brandy for training. Such a small world huh?? :P

Butter Cookies aka Melting Moments. Made from only butter, this butter cookie does not only taste buttery but melts in your mouth as well!

Rolled Pineapple Jam Tarts. The Jam filling for these are HOMEMADE not storebought so it is less sweet and really pineappley!

Kuih Bangkit. These white babies are famous among our parents and grandparents generation.

Chocolate Chip Walnut. A chocolate lover must have! Chocolate flavoured cookies with walnuts and chocolate chips. What's not to love? ;) & it's not too sweet as well!

Chocolate Chip Cookies. The old fashioned chocolate chip cookies. Great for the sweet tooth of yours and yummy when eaten alone or dipped into a glass of milk! :)

The cookies are ranged from RM15 to RM19 per container.

The cookies are sold in the same sized container and only one size is available.

Place orders asap as I will not take in anymore once the quota is reached!

You will need to give me at least 3-4days to bake the cookies after placing your order, as everything are made to order, not ready made to maintain its freshness.

Self pick up is at Caltex Petrol Station, opposite of Sunway Pyramid. If you need me to deliver, delivery charges apply depending on location.

December's Corporate Orders

I've been missing in action for a LONG time & I apologise for that :P I've been kinda busy so... no postings on my blog. So here's some stuff I did for Christmas & the month of December 2009.

My first corporate order was from L'Oreal!!! They have this thing called Christmas Connect, & since it's Christmas, they gave away a goodie bag which consist of Toberlone choc, a candy cane, and my gingerbread cookie :) 200 pieces of these babies nearly made me faint.

Made 3 different designs :) Ppl liked the socks the best according to Liang Wei who ordered haha

All gingerbread cookies are individually sealed in a plastic bag tied with a ribbon

A few days after delivering the cookies, L'Oreal called again, this time it was from Kiehl's, a new brand under L'Oreal. They wanted 500 cookies with the brand's "K" on the cookies. They were for their Kiehl's counter in Sogo, to distribute to the crowd in conjunction with Christmas :) I had little elves to help me out (Randall, Lucas & Wyzek, Mum & Dad). Thank you to all 5 of u, without u guys I won't be able to finish them on time :)

It's been a while since i posted!! Been rather busy :( For more updates do keep in touch with me through facebook. I will normally upload pics there once i complete a cake/cupcakes :P it's easier & faster compared to here!

Here's a cake I did for my cousin who's a medical representative. She wanted a cake for her customer who's a doc, a gynae to be exact! This cake i rather cute, take a look!

Ai Lin and Hon Choon's Wedding 031009

One of my high school friend got married few weeks back with her long time sweet heart :) I was happy that she came to me for her wedding cake, my first ever wedding cake!! :D

It was a champange coloured cake which was the colour of her dress, with sugar made white cymbidium orchids and small pink orchids, the colour of her deco. There were also gold painted motives on the cake to make it less plain.

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the lack of posts for the month of September! It has been a busy-crazy-mooncake-baking frenzy in my kitchen. So, thank you as well to those of you who have showed your support & purchased my mooncakes!! :)

These were made for a friend as a farewell gift. He left for UK to study, so I showed him a list of things that he's not suppose to do, and the only right thing to do is to study! :P

This set of cupcakes were ordered by Kelvin for Brenda who just turned 16 few weeks back. She really enjoys shopping, and really likes designer handbags. She is also yearning for a puppy as her pet.

Boobielicious 21st Birthday

Jasmine's friend turned 21 two weeks back and asked for a cake for her friend's party. She told me he likes girls & cars. Wanted to do a car cake, but in the end, we decided to make a woman's torso in a corset ;)

Sculpting the cake was time consuming, but nevertheless it turned out looking great! Take a look.

My 1st 2-tiered Birthday Cake!!!

This was ordered by Ing Ay last weekend for her bro's 21st bday :) According to her, he likes dogs alot, so it was decided that the cake would be of a doggie theme!! I suggested to her that i will make 21 dogs to be place all around the cake to signify his age. Other than that, the doggies will be wearing party hats & will pose differently. It was for a party of 50 ppl! :D As a doggie lover, i searched the net and decided to make different breed of dogs, as many as i could handle :)

And only a few days before the delivery date, i was told that the cake will be travelling back to Port Dickson for the party O_0 At that moment i was kinda worried the cake may topple of some of the deco may get destroyed in the journey... But, it's another achievement cos this is the furthest my creation has travelled so far & nothing happened to the cake thank goodness.. hehe

I made the cake in a bright yellow colour for a more cheerful overall look and so that the dogs will stand out :)

The breed of dogs on the cakes were JRT, west highland terrier, min pin, dashound, huskie, poodle, schnauzer, dalmation! :) hehehe

I have never kneaded so much icing in my life... a total of 2.5kgs of fondant..... to turn white fondant into bright yellow wasnt easy.. lol

The bottom was a 10 inch round sugee almond with bailey's cake while the 6 inch was a chocolate cake with choc forsting. I finished the cakes at 6am on the day of the delivery. Nevertheless, im very happy with how it turned out :) Hope the bday boy liked it was well.

Each mooncake is individually packed & sealed for hygiene & to maintain its freshness. An oxygen absorber is also packed together with each mooncake.

Center Stage Cake

Another quite last min cake! lol Im not complaining! I am happy that my business is slowly picking up :) sometimes it can really get out of hand, but i will somehow manage to pull through.

This cake was ordered by Chloe, for her cousin sis's birthday. She was very specific with wat she wanted, a cake which is a stage, with a girl, holding a throphy with a sash. & she also wanted 2 hand painted logos. The Allianz logo together with the MDRT logo.

The birthday girl works for Allianz, & i think she's one of the winners for the MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) award, so Chloe wanted the cake to signify that :)

Chloe collected the cake in the morning, and called me back after 20 minutes telling me the birthday girl loves the cake alot, and the figure kinda looks like her lol they had a good laugh :)

Of Roses & Bears

This cake was done quite long ago, a very last min order by my cousin, managed to squeeze in his order -_- Was very rushing & hectic, but heck, i love decorating :P He didn't say much about the person who's receiving the cake, & he just wanted something sweet & cute since it was for a girl. A banana cake with coffee buttercream under the deco. I actually wanted to do roses & some simple design for this cake, but cakes done by me wont be complete without any figure modeling! So i made 2 bears, and a present :)
